Waterstones Brussels is probably the largest and oldest English bookshop in Brussels. A few years ago, WH Smith ran a bookshop in the same premises. Waterstones is located just behind rue Neuve, near the Metro Station Rogier and the pre Metro De Brouckere. Opening hours are daily (incl. Sundays!) from 10h30 – 18h30 (Sundays 17h30)
Very knowledgeable and helpful staff is available to help your find your way in this large bookstore. Of course, Waterstones also orders books for you, should the books not be available in the shop. The choice of English newspapers and magazines is probably the largest in town.
However, Waterstones is not only the largest, but also one of the more expensive English bookstores in Brussels. If you are not in a rush and if you know exactly which book you want, you might wish to order your books online. Even for one book you will already save 20-40% compared to the Waterstones price, but of course you have to wait a few days before the book arrives with free delivery in Brussels and without the advice of Waterstones’ experts. So support your Brussels English Bookstore and go to Waterstones, or order English Books in Brussels online here.
